Denver Technology Incorporated
Manufacturing for the 21st Century
For each project, DenTech identifies the group of firms that are the most likely to be affected by the development, and builds a partnership around the product. Partners share in all benefits from both the market and intellectual property developed by the project, and partner investment may be leveraged with additional funding from private foundations and government sector development funding.
Development may include acquiring manufacturing firms and facilities that are under-utilized and which help to form a more valuable project. In some cases, the value of the added contract work that DenTech can bring to the deal pays for acquiring the firm. Some firms are also sitting on technology that they have developed and patented but cannot bring to the table. For those firms, acquiring them becomes a way for the technology to finally get ‘off the bench’ and into the market.
Some firms projects have projects with a mature development cycle but which have not been able to proceed into the market. For these firms, DenTech can be the catalyst for building in the next stage to profitable operation.
· Ultra light ground vehicles;
· Unattended retail service units;
· Unattended medical monitoring devices;
· Special purpose underground shaft and tunnel systems;
· Unattended multi-passenger trolleys and light form vehicles;
· Whole community energy monitoring and management systems;
· Verticalized solar thermal collection and in ground energy storage.
Several DenTech projects are being developed in ‘stealth’ mode.
Why?
It has become evident over time that the ‘moat’ of IP protection has not been sufficient to protect many projects. Confidentiality has been the best protection for DenTech projects during early stages of development.
