Denver Technology Inc. was founded by Donald Missey in early 2009.
Professional Background
Mr. Missey has worked for two decades managing engineering and construction projects that ranged from USAID's Russian Officer Resettlement Program, to the Pentagon's Dual Use Program for the Bechtel/Ebasco Supermagnetic Energy Storage Engineering Test Model (SMES-ETM), to Chemical Weapons Demilitarization in the United States for Raytheon/WGI under the US Army Corps of Engineers, and over a dozen EPC projects in fossil and renewable fuel facilities. By project type he has managed engineering and construction on dams, water and wastewater plants, roads and runways, warehouse and logistic facilities development, chemical weapons demilitarization, HVAC central plant engineering and construction, coal fired power plant bulk material handling and discharge control, gas fired turbine combined cycle plants, large central plants for heating and cooling, renewable energy project development, coking facilities reconstruction and aluminum smelter renovation.
He has lived and worked overseas in Russia, Poland, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Estonia, France, and Afghanistan. In the US, he has worked in Colorado, Wyoming, Vermont, Boston, Brooklyn, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Pine Bluff, Arkansas.
Mr. Missey has degrees in History and Economics from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a graduate of the Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He has performed graduate degree work in accounting, and is a Master's candidate in Project Management with a specific focus on the causes of project failure.
He has been a union journeyman carpenter in Colorado locals 1351 and 55, and he is a licensed Class 'A' building construction superintendent.
