No. Engineering and marketing are traditionally carried out in sequence; the engineers design the product, and the marketing team dutifully takes that product to market. DenTech carries out a continuous design charrette, using the latest elements of ‘crowd sourcing’ and market feedback to shape the product during the engineering phase.

What is the net effect of using the market to shape products?

Using the market to shape the engineering of the product is a fundamental change to engineering practice in the US. Selecting projects and shaping projects from the market to the engineering required, results in a product with proven market segment. Put succinctly - the market engineers the product.

Does DenTech develop substantial new technology?

New technology development is not a key factor in DenTech operations. Instead, DenTech is focused developing profitable markets for existing and proven technology, understanding that success in the market, not in research, is the critical measure of project success.

DenTech frequently references Technology Transfer; why?

True technology transfer is the successful installation of a technology in the market. Other definitions may exist – this is ours.

Does DenTech accept technology developed elsewhere?

Yes; DenTech does not believe that only internally developed technology is acceptable. In fact, DenTech uses a Cross Licensing Agreement with all manufacturers it works with to insure that new innovations from manufacturers in its group benefit immediately from their innovations.

Doesn’t a Cross Licensing Agreement bypass many months of patent and IP process?
